About the Captain

Captain Jeff "Doc" Shaw has been fishing West Grand Traverse Bay  since he was 5 years old.  That's over 55 years.  He is a Traverse City  Native and is a retired Chiropractic doctor in Traverse City after 30  years of practice.  His office is located on the shore of West Grand  Traverse Bay, within sight of the "fishing grounds."  He spent 3 years  commercial fishing in Kodiak, Alaska, long before the "Deadliest Catch"  was in the American vocabulary.  With his knowledge of "West Bay," the  success rate on "Well Adjusted" is typically some of the best around.
